Air Content Parity
More than 450 airlines now offer their inventory to Abacus' subscribers. This is in accordance to Abacus’ objective to provide a fully integrated service for all travel booking needs. Airlines which were previously unavailable through Abacus will now provide the travel agents with more business opportunities. For more information, travel agents can refer to Abacus Directory Reference System Y/AAI/ACP.
Connectivity levels
Deliver your air products to a world of potential customers either by participating in the basic level of Full Availability or by upgrading to a higher level of premium connectivity. There are five participation levels.
Interactive Seat Map Display (IMAP)
IMAP enables you to address the seat requests of your travel agents either with instant confirmation or by providing alternative solutions.
Interactive Pre-Reserved Seats (IPRS)
Interactive Pre-Reserved Seats allows you to provide instant confirmation for seat requests by your travel agents.
Journey Data
Journey Data displays the segments booked in the passenger itinerary.
Married Segment
Direct Connect Segment Revenue Management, or Married Segment, gives you the flexibility to extend your inventory control to the connecting segments built into Abacus.
PNR Synchronisation
PNR Synchronisation allows you to obtain a passenger’s complete itinerary and data in addition to the normal teletype booking information. This gives you a complete picture of the itinerary for better passenger services.
Point of Sale (POS)
To better manage your inventory and improve yield management, it is vital to possess updated POS information, which you can easily access when you participated in Abacus.
Expanded Point of Sale (EPOS)
In addition to POS, EPOS offers additional data like Frequent Traveler Number and Corporate Identification which help you make informed decisions on inventory to display.
