Sam Wong is General Manager of Abacus Distribution Systems Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd – Asia’s leading Global Distribution Service.
As General Manager based in Karachi, Pakistan, Sam is currently overall in charge of operations, Sales, Marketing, support activities including driving business strategies and ideas through Pakistan team.
Having strong background of airline and hospitality industry, he is all set to equip Pakistan travel trade with reliable reservation tools designed to meet the unique requirements to help them increase their efficiency.
He worked as the General Manager for a logistic company involved for deals with TA’s land cargo, sea and air. This logistic company 's clients are from the Suzhou industrial Park- a project between Singapore and Chinese government.
Prior to joining Abacus in Jan 2006, he was running chain of TAs in China for 18 years.
He is a proactive planner with expertise in strategic planning, market plan execution, account management and skills in P&L management. Sam has a proven track record in streamlining workflow, evolving effective operational procedures and creating a teamwork environment to enhance productivity.
